Susan Friedman has her Ph.D. in English, with a specialty in Women’s and Gender Studies. She is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, who has been teaching for over 15 years, and has traveled twice to India for extended study at the Iyengar Institute. She is proud to combine her love for literature and yoga with a university class entitled “The Bhagavad-Gita and Yoga” that she designed and developed for the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she currently teaches.
