Saprina Matheny, MSW, LICSW, operates a small, private mental health clinic in the Duluth, Minnesota area. In addition to her work as a clinician and clinical supervisor, she also serves as a trainer and consultant for a variety of audiences surrounding the areas of adult and child traumatic stress, trauma informed systems change, pediatric sexual behavior, and trauma informed schools. Formerly she served as the Director of Youth and Family Services at a Community Mental Health Center and as the Clinical Program Manager at a National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) located at the University of Minnesota. Her passion is working at the intersections of various child-serving agencies to create system change, emphasizing the role of evidence-based practices.
