Rebecca Hoffmann Frances is the Senior Director of Clinical Innovation and Training at Maine Behavioral Healthcare in Portland Maine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine.  In her position, Ms. Hoffmann Frances oversees all employee learning as well as the infusion of evidence based practices and implementation science throughout Maine Behavioral Healthcare.  In addition she manages large federally-funded behavioral health programs that focus on providing care and treatment for children and families that have been exposed to violence and trauma. These grant-funded programs focus on prevention of childhood exposure to violence, raising the level of community awareness on the effects of violence and trauma on children, and the implementation of evidence-based trauma treatment. Rebecca has extensive training and practice in the field of childhood trauma and has published numerous resources related to child traumatic stress. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist with twenty years of experience working in behavioral health and predominantly with children and families.
